This page provides information about harvesting metadata for DLNET
resources via the OAI-PMH version 2.0 implemented by DLNET. This
is a version 1.0 release of the DLNET OAI provider that supports
metadata dissemination in oai_dc (dublin core) format.
The following is
a brief summary of the DLNET OAI provider.

The returns are in XML format that can be parsed using an automated
OAI Harvester. They should be viewable using Internet Explorer 5
and Netscape 6 or higher. Other browsers may require additional
plugins or may need a text viewer to correctly display the results.

| ListIdentifiers |
Requests a
list of identifiers for all records in DLNET.

| ListRecords |
Requests a
concatenated list of all records in DLNET. The metadata for
each record appears between the <metadata> tags.

| GetRecord |
Requests the
metadata of an individual record whose ID is provided. For
example the OAI Identifier 'oai:dlnet:EE/DLN030702_107' entered
below will request the record for EE/DLNET-07-03-2002-0107. Other
records can be obtained by inputting their IDs below:

identity of the DLNET repository.
