DLNET's
Learning Object Packaging Tool will assist you
in processing your submission material into a package that
will enable its efficient aggregation, distribution and utilization
by DLNET or any learning management system. It is based on
a widely-accepted standard of creating packaged interchange
files (PIF) suitable for delivery of structured instructional
content over the web. The PIF is essentially a zipped folder
containing the actual resources and a manifest file with information
about the resource, i.e., metadata, and its organization.
Once the Tool converts your resource into a PIF consisting
of the 'Learning Object,' it is ready for uploading to DLNET.
