The Basic Search interface is located on the Homepage. To perform a simple search, enter a keyword in the space provided and click on the Submit button.

The Advanced Search interface is located on this page. It enables the user to search based on a combination of metadata elements such as Author Name, Title, Description, Keyword and Format. To perform an advanced search:

• Enter at least one of the search terms in the spaces provided
  
  
• Select AND, OR to combine the search terms. AND will narrow your search to items containing all your search terms while OR expands the search to all items containing one or more of the terms.
  
  
• Select the format of resource that is required.

• Select area of interest from Engineering pull-down menu first. The corresponding first level topics will appear under Major Topics in the second pull-down menu.
  
  
• Select the Major Topic of interest. The corresponding second level topics will be displayed under Sub Topic in the third pull down menu.
  
  
• Select the Sub Topic of interest to view a listing of learning objects available in DLNET.
