As a user, you are free to browse and view the learning objects in DLNET. However, downloading is access-controlled requiring you to input a valid username/password combination. If you are new to DLNET, therefore, we recommend that you first register as a user (only part A of the form is required). Registration will also provide you with a personal 'DLNET Page' that will enable you, among others, to:

• view and track your download history
• get updated information on learning objects of interest and,
• update or modify your profile.

Using DLNET
Start by searching for learning objects of interest. The following search options are provided for you:

• Basic Search (based on simple keywords or phrases)
• Advanced Search (based on a logical combination of important metadata elements)
• Browse Search (based on a taxonomy of subject areas)

The results are displayed in order of relevance to your query. The title, author name, description, level and user ratings are provided for each learning object listed.
